Best PL season EVER!!

I just looked at the league table and noticed we're three points clear of course but United are now level with City and West Ham just a point behind.

What a turn around at OT, things are looking really good now and having watched the first half of the Arsenal game, I'm not surprised.

What looked like a nailed on top four certainly isn't anymore and Chelsea are making a late move too. They're unbeaten in ten now winning half of them so can't rule them out of having some sort of impact.

This really is the best PL season ever, simply amazing! In any other league in the world, the results of the last two days just wouldn't happen. Finally the PL has some life in it and it's not a dull foregone conclusion anymore. Long may it continue but I think the signs are very promising for the future.

Leicester are definitely in the driving seat at present. Can they maintain, form suggests they can, the next few weeks will be vital for all teams chasing them as well.

As for lats nights result, not the disaster some seem to think. West Ham have a terrific home record this season, are playing good football (despite the pitch, even Bilic criticised it) & deserved to win last night.

I am more concerned with us securing a win on Saturday, because that would open up a 6 point lead over Arsenal which would be excellent with 9 games left.

We should give Leicester a lot of credit, they were unlucky not to beat WBA, the did batter them in the last 10 minutes on Tuesday night & how they did not score a winner I do not know

arro.................................................Just once, can you not show some humility in your posts.

Leicester are having a fantastic season & I am pleased for them & their long standing fans. However you almost make people wish that they failed, just to slap your arrogance & bitterness down your throat.

The majority of Leicester fans just want to enjoy life at the top of the PL, yes of course I want Spurs to win the PL, however I do not want Leicester not to win it.

If you win I will be one of the first to congratulate them, however I somehow think if we win it, you will be definitely not be congratulating us!

It's obvious that the best sides in the league aren't as good as the mid-noughties for instance but the rest of the prem has improved in quality making it a much more competitive league

I came to your board for a truce, most accepted and we're now debating as we should.

Several on your board chose not to and have been on here gobbing off and ruining threads, I will keep my thoughts in check when these idiots stop wumming.

I'm saying what I think and I don't think you were particularly tested and there was no pressure, until yesterday. Then you came up against a good side with the pressure on and you lost.

At the end of the day we're all debating who has the minerals to get over the line and things like yesterday are important and can be significant so why shouldnt it be said? Is it just because I point it out that you don't like it or what?

I wish everybody would stop saying the quality of the PL has been poor, just because it's not the usual top teams dominating. It really is a lazy point to make.

Has anybody stopped to think that maybe the so called smaller teams are just better now?

Briefly, and then I glanced at our euro efforts of recent times, things such as West Ham needing penalties to knock out a Maltese side.

Midjytland beating man Utd and Southampton (eliminating) arsenal failing to even reach the quarter finals since 2010, man city never reaching the quarters as yet.

I think you do West Ham a great disservice. They have one of the best home records around & under Bilic have shown that they can be up there with the best teams

I think West Ham are a decent side, as good as Leicester to be honest despite the point difference currently.

But this league season is a shambles from a quality standpoint, the star players for most sides have simply been terrible.

Should just say that i guess time will tell us just how good the top teams are this season, if either spurs or leicester are remotely as good as some now seem to think then they will both comfortably be inside the top four next season as well.

Can it not be a bit of both? Yes, I'd agree that Palace, West Ham, Stoke and obviously Leicester have improved, but I think the "big" teams have really stagnated over the last couple of seasons. English clubs' recent record in Europe supports this.

I'm not sure about this. I think everyone looks at Barca and Bayern when making comparisons. Barca are currently miles ahead with Bayern a clear second. Nearly every other team in Europe would struggle in the Prem.

PSG, Real and Dortmund would make a good fist of it. Juventus, Sevilla, Napoli, etc would probably be top half. The rest would struggle.
