Yeah it's been touching cloth all season but we can breath a sigh of relief now ๐Ÿ˜‚

Yeah, only cus Leicester have blown it out of the water in the sense that everyone can now believe now,

posted on 2/3/16

In all seriousness though, since his announced deparure. How much energy and desire has
Pelegrini put into;

A. League Cup
B. FA Cup
C. Premier League

posted on 2/3/16

Each to his own, but I don't think it's been a good season. Unpredictable, yes, but a real dearth of quality from the traditional top teams, though Leicester and Spurs have been excellent.

Fair play to Leicester especially and I hope they win it.

posted on 3/3/16

It wouldn't surprise me now if Man City finish 5th and out of the Champions league. Winning nothing but the League Cup which means nothing next season

posted on 3/3/16

Sceptical I know

Pelegrini gave a Wembley final all the respect

But no respect for getting Man City in the CL next season

To be honest this is one of the worst quality premierleagues I have seen but its true the gap between the top sides and bottom sides isn't much. Our record against the bottom 7 sides is main reason we are struggling this season. Against the rest of the sides we would be right in the title race mix.

posted on 3/3/16

Maybe the lack in quality is the reason it's the best. It's more interesting because teams are a lot more equal than ever.

Worst quality? Teams get what they deserve. Easy to knock other sides just because your own team hasn't done well, especially when you thought you were one of the automatic elite. I'm full of admiration for Leicester for what they've done so far this season, (like many fellow Wolves fans). It shows that everything is still possible.

posted on 3/3/16

I am just saying worst quality as a team like Man Utd had more shots then the opposition pretty much 80-90% of the games. Even today when we struggled we create more chances and have 1 more shot then Watford.

Beaten Arsenal Tottenham Hotspur drawn against Man City and Leicester City and lost 1 game agains current top 4 Some reason the top 4 struggle against Liverpool which is good news for us as they give us 6 points.

It has been an unusual season thats for sure but quality wise it really has been poor overall.

Looks like it could be the lowest ever points total for the champion as well.

This kind of parity is normally only seen in other weak league like the USA,.

Leicester will get more than 75 points, no matter what you think about four wins! You're clueless and don't give us any credit at all.

I said we can play with the ball too and the last two games have proven that, with 58% against Norwich in a game where we weren't at our best but still won and 65% against WBA, creating a bucket load of chances, hitting the bar twice and Foster pulled off four or five really good saves. We battered them and showed how dangerous we are when we're allowed to attack. On another day we would have scored four or five and that free kick doesn't go in.

Our pass completion stats were good because we had more of the ball but even Edbo mentioned how we play it forward and don't mess about going sideways and backwards.

You look at stats and get the completely wrong idea because they're not representative of the truth. Fact is we lose possession trying to play a forward ball to create chances and when we do lose it, the ball is deep in the oppositon half, it's rare that we give it away through sloppy passes in our own half.

We play 38% of our passes in the final third, almost double the amount Spurs do, in fact it will actually be more than that now following the Norwich and WBA games. That is a stat that you can take note of because it highlights where we play football.

Any team can pass it sideways and backwards and most teams will allow that to happen. We do, it doesn't cause problems so we let them play it around and then take it off then press when they're 30 yards out and invariably win back possession.

Considering you live off our pass completion stats, it's odd that you ignore the stats that show we have the most wins, the least losses, have scored the most and have the most points.

We're as good as anyone in the league and seemingly better right now yet you're too much of a blind fool and can't see it! We're top for a reason and we will win more than four more games.

You really are becoming extremely tedious!!

Which is a joy for a wum like Cinci to see - don't encourage him Arro!

I agree with your assessment by the way, been thinking our low passing stats are because we are usually trying the difficult options. This will change if teams continue to cede possession to us.

Last night's results were generally great but there were some possible darker clouds amongst all the silver linings. They have certainly given us a better opportunity for the title, but have also brought the potential for Europa league football closer.

I was saying yesterday to colleagues that the pressure was now really on Spurs and how would they cope? Answer - not very well. In addition to the Swans doing us a favour, Arsenal have had a huge loss in advance of the pivotal NLD with Cech getting injured.

Still many games to play but it's certainly getting interesting.

I wish everybody would stop saying the quality of the PL has been poor, just because it's not the usual top teams dominating. It really is a lazy point to make.

Has anybody stopped to think that maybe the so called smaller teams are just better now?

I'm in complete agreement with that. Even two of the promoted teams will stay up if not all of them. I even thought WBA looked better than they have in the past.

This season has shown its more important to play as a team and those that do are having successful seasons and much every team have match winners and can beat anyone on their day.

Wow - we lost away to a very good West Ham side who are pushing for a EL/CL position, our first loss in 7 games winning the other 6.
How are we coping? Fine I think you'll find

First test of pressure against a decent side, with the chance to go top, something you had been waiting on for months and you bottled it. Win six in a row but lose when it really matters.

It wasn't just that you lost either, it was the performance that was more of a telling sign for me. You were outclassed and barely created anything all game and they were comfortable and unkucky not to have scored more. I think it was over an hour before you had a shot on target. If you lost but played well it would be different.

Oh and your six fixtures weren't exactly tough. The only top team you played was City and we had just softened them up and they just got hammered by Liverpool so a City out of form plus mid-table and relegation teams and your only real tests have come against us and West Ham and you lost both!

Winning six on the bounce is still impressive regardless of who you're playing though. It's done very rarely.

Going to City and winning is still a very tough ask, it seems like you are belittling the result to suit your agenda. If anything they were more motivated to beat us due to losing to you the week before.

Yeah of course winning six games is an achievement (we did it back end of last season ๐Ÿ˜‰) but I don't think you were really tested. Winning at City was a great result but they're not in form, as the defeat to Liverpool highlighted. They didn't play well and didn't really test you, that's all I was saying.
