Derby County 2 - 0 Huddersfield Town

Here I am sat in my lunch break trying desperately to put the thread together before time is called..

I just cannot call this - Derby have been laughably inconsistent with results but more consistent with performance - crap!

Before we all start being pessimistic and predicting a loss remember Hull lost last night, seems no-one wants to be promoted...plus Wolves may continue their 1 match winning run tonight.....

However the Mighty Rams are still looking for their second back to back win since Boxing Day and did you know Coldplay has scored as many goals in the last two games as in the previous nineteen

Darren needs to find his best 11 or rather his best formation as we are still not competing to the sum of all parts and have a district lack of confidence in our definite ability to win and win handsomely .

Derby have not lost to Huddersfield at home since 1957 when Spart was at Uni and Huddersfield have only won 3 of their last 8 on the road, Time to make 4/9.

Team news from Mojaca as and when please

When Butterfield went off Hendrick suddenly improved. It was his dispossesion of the Udders player and subsequent pass which set up the goal for Russell. Maybe Wassall knows more than the majority, including me.

We went 1-0 up against Portsmouth in the first match of our nadir season when Oakley scored after 5 mins, but I don't know if it was the first goal scored that season?

Pompey equalised on 27 and went ahead on 83 only for that football enigma that is Todd to equalise for the Rams on 84. Oops, sorry this Todd was Andy, (a somewhat inferior version of his father the great Colin Todd).

Eugenics Scouse Got to be the way forward. Never mind academies, transfer windows and the like. A good old fashioned breeding program is what we need.
No scope for fans to complain and imagine the possibilities as Manager..........

Funnily enough that solitary win against Newcastle with the screamer from Kenny Miller has lived longer in my memory that other 'more important' games have....🤔

I watched the win against Newcastle in a bar in Olhos D'aqua. The next win had was against Sheff Utd and I saw that win in the same bar. The last time I saw us win in the prem was 3-1 away at Bolton in 2002. Still not as long as when forest last won in the prem.

Or Ang, in Andy Todd's case "reverse eugenics".
