Just woke up from a dream I was playing a spot of cricket with Hanson, Hughes, Keogh and owd Dazza Bent.

Obviously I was playing them off the park but after they got destroyed by my Ben Stokes-esque attack I sat down with them and had a chat about it all, asking them all how's it going without passing any judgment on the players at all, apart from suggesting the need to drop off their markers a bit more and link up play better, to which they were in agreement and assured me they've been working on it. Dazza seemed to say with relief, his eyes drunk on images of being played in on goal instead of watching the ball go all the way back to Carson.

They told me that Grant hasn't been given a chance this season (their words not mine, don't hate the messenger) within a week Kenny Dalglish and Dave Jones will be managing the club and that the new central midfielder they brought on transfer day in January will come good despite being 5hite at the moment and propel us up the table. They revealed that all was not well at board level, but insisted on saying Mel was a nice fella, just that he had a few issue to work through.

So all you budding dream whisperers out there what does this premonition mean? Other than I need help and the trauma of Derby consistently snatching defeat from the jaws of victory is starting to show. Who was this central midifelder we brought on transfer day?

I'm also 5hit at cricket apart from bowling the demon medium slow yorker occasionally and taking an amazing catch at mid wicket once, if that helps interpret 5hit.

When I taught at Ecclesbourne, that was pretty much my day.

Nah, 3 hour days, teaching if you are unlucky, home by 2.30pm, 1 hour lunch break, start at 9.30am and NOT allowed to get mardy about a teachers lot .....😉

Oh and 18 weeks holiday, car charged to the Academy, free massages, counselling and an unhealthy scrutiny with an original joke if you make a spelin mistake on these boards 👍

I have considered it but it's a bit (lot) boring. I am always in favour of receiving money for very little work.
