Biggish, a question!

A few years ago we had polar opposite views about a CF we sold to a club on Merseyside.

We've disagreed about it a few times since, can I ask if you are still of the same opinion?

Haha Biggish I get how you're feeling and I understand why. A lot of people are thinking the same tbf. I'm just trying to think positive about next season.

Wish this season would just end tomorrow.

Yeah Brummie this is arguably the worst set of midfielders we've had during the Roman era. You always always always need pace and power in the middle of the park which we lack big time.

That's why I want to see us sign 2 midfielders next season. We should have signed one in the summer and with Ramires gone we need a replacement.

I'd get rid of one of Mikel or Matic.

I look back at a central midfield we used to be able to call on and we had Makalele, Essien, Lampard and Ballack and Mikel who was basically there in emergency.

We are now down to Mikel as a 1st team regular with either Matic or Fabregas!

Nah Biggish, nothing like that, not trying to debate it whatsoever.

I was genuinely interested to see if you were of the same opinion as you were when we sold him.

No worries mate, totally respect your opinion

Brummie.....He won't be at Everton next season, he will be most prob at Real Madrid....

I'm sure the new member on the board will have a say in that.

Just as we resisted the calls to free Stones to allow him to join Chelsea. The PL is transforming due to the money coming in, the old established sides have a fight on now

The money don`t mean nothing, Chelsea will be back to mid table for a number of years now. You had your lottery years, now it is all levelling up again. Also without European football the debt level at SB will start to rise again, the Russian aint going to keep bailing you out. Enjoy.

Chelsea are debt free Sandy. Roman spends, adds it to the clubs debts to him, waits for a favourable economic climate and writes it off to zero. Repeat.
In the mean time the silverware acquired gave us fans some great moments. You and I will never forget 2012 but for completely different reasons. We won th Champions League and knocked you out of the following seasons despite you finishing fourth. Happy days and they will be back.

Flash he had a whole season at Goodison banging goals in, on loan the season before as well.

He proved himself at WBA, then Everton before going there permanently - leaving us to go into battle with three ineffective strikers.

The worst that could have happened would be that he could have been just as bad as them - so we'd have been no worse off!!!!

Agree with this

Lukaku has always had a good goalscoring record but in Jose's defence I believe he is a mutch better around footballer now than when Everton signed him. His first touch, link up play and use of his strength to hold the ball up and create chances have improved a lot this year. If I was honest I thought at the time Everton may have paid too much for Rom. My fear now is he will move on, not for money as that may not be such a concern with the new tv deal but because bigger clubs than Everton, and for that matter Chelsea, May come calling.
