Great to see a bit of good news for the club from tonight's internationals.
N'Golo made his much deserved debut for France, playing the whole of the second half in their friendly against Holland.
Meanwhile Riyad grabbed just the four (yes FOUR) assists for Algeria in their ACN qualifier.

As far as I'm concerned, as long as they don't pick up any injuries then it can only be a good thing that our players are getting picked for their national sides and playing well. It'll boost their confidence even further still and that should help to maintain the feelgood atmosphere around our camp.
Now, over to Jamie and Danny for tomorrow night...
Congratulations N'Golo and Riyad

I caught the game and Kante played well, his passing in tight areas and his ability to nick the ball from players feet in the most unexpected areas were highlighted.

Funny you should mention his passing, I was talking about that with my old man yesterday. He always seems to find the gap and his accuracy is really high, it was 89% against Palace.

I've noticed it a lot while watching yous this season. He almost always finds a man, even if he is surrounded.

Kante is not box to box he sheilds the defence, he also covers more ground in 1 game that Toure would do in 4 or 5.

Ye he is. Kanty is box2box like yaya, but yaya scores goals too.

Kante is Makelele with pace, he's a defensive midfielder.

Makelele would be the perfect comparison, nothing like Toure.

He needs to drive forward more and score more goals. Midfielders like makelele dont exist anymore. Especially in a 442, you dont need a dm. You need midfielders who go box2box and score goals. Kanty needs to add this to his game.

Us Leicester fans are very happy with what he's doing at the minute, a few goals would be a bonus where he is concerned. Drinkwater needs to add goals to his game if anyone does.

Nah,Drinky 🍸does his job perfectly. Lesters Iniesta

I'm not agreeing with Kante needing to add goals to his game but doesn't Drinkwater play slightly deeper than Kante who does burst forward from his midfield role often?

Nah Drinky is our box to box, you'll find him in the corner closing out games while Kante protects the back four.
Drinky could do with adding goals but not Kante. He does his job perfectly and he starts our attacks, he doesn't finish them. He's only had one shot this season that I can remember and he scored against Watford when Gomes had a mare 😂
