What a great week for Leicester players, Schmeichel gets Danish POTY, Okazaki scores a lovely goal, Schlupp and Amartey help Ghana win, Mahrez grabs four assists and Kante impresses as France beat Holland.
As you said now over to Vards and Drinky and I hope and pray that they're both on the pitch at the same time and Vardy is played down the middle so he can show what he can do.
Brilliant stuff and the players will be coming back buzzing.
Neither are starting against Germany so that will be yet another England game I don't bother with. What is the point of friendlies if the same players are played over and over again and those on the fringe aren't given a chance. Pointless 😏
Typical international break....
Other nations play their best players and England play a second 11 regurgitated from London..
Boo
You can put yours toys back in the pram gents, drinkwater and vardy are set to start against Holland
Both games will feature a lot of changes in line up which is standard really
Less game time = less chance of injury. I'm more than happy with that.
Kante was pretty bad, but okazaki was class, as expected.
The reports I read were that France and Kante were impressive.

I'll watch that one then 😉👍
Ye, its true. Kanty was poor. Needs to learn from okazaki how to handle international football.
So you say he was poor but reports say he was impressive?
Fair enough, I can't have an opinion as I didn't watch the game 👍
I caught the game and Kante played well, his passing in tight areas and his ability to nick the ball from players feet in the most unexpected areas were highlighted.

Funny you should mention his passing, I was talking about that with my old man yesterday. He always seems to find the gap and his accuracy is really high, it was 89% against Palace.
Kanty needs to score more goals imo. Look at yaya. He used to score 20 a season.
Why does he need to score goals thats not his game., also he is nothing like Toure by the way.
Ye he is. Kanty is box2box like yaya, but yaya scores goals too.

I've noticed it a lot while watching yous this season. He almost always finds a man, even if he is surrounded.
Kante is not box to box he sheilds the defence, he also covers more ground in 1 game that Toure would do in 4 or 5.
I aint tlaking about current yaya. Im talking yaya in his prime. Like 2011-2014

Kante is Makelele with pace, he's a defensive midfielder.
Makelele would be the perfect comparison, nothing like Toure.
He needs to drive forward more and score more goals. Midfielders like makelele dont exist anymore. Especially in a 442, you dont need a dm. You need midfielders who go box2box and score goals. Kanty needs to add this to his game.
Us Leicester fans are very happy with what he's doing at the minute, a few goals would be a bonus where he is concerned. Drinkwater needs to add goals to his game if anyone does.
