He's played this card before. He complained Wolfsburg didn't let him spend anything until he sold Dzeko.

Never really liked him, so won't be shedding any tears.

Does anyone remember his interview with a Dutch tv channel where he spoke in English, but tried to put on a Dutch accent.

He's got a pair !!! he will stand up to his board / chairman & if he is not backed he WILL walk !!! not like someone else we all know !!!

I don't know about that, it came across to me that Borad were meeting about him, not that he'd remonstrated with the board, but point completely taken.

I may br wrong but sometimes i think that the reason Bates took SG on is because he knew he could manipulate him ...... would he be able to manipulate the likes of MO'n / Big Sam / etc no i dont think he could he seems to like the yessa massam bates right away ....... *sigh*

Agree with that RoDz, also that he would be able to work on a shoestring budget, but we haven't seen that work.
