I found Mclarne going to Forest a strange one.

It was clear from Davies' tenure that there were issues with funds for transfers, he must have known what he was walking into.

He's played this card before. He complained Wolfsburg didn't let him spend anything until he sold Dzeko.

I don't know about that, it came across to me that Borad were meeting about him, not that he'd remonstrated with the board, but point completely taken.

I may br wrong but sometimes i think that the reason Bates took SG on is because he knew he could manipulate him ...... would he be able to manipulate the likes of MO'n / Big Sam / etc no i dont think he could he seems to like the yessa massam bates right away ....... *sigh*

Agree with that RoDz, also that he would be able to work on a shoestring budget, but we haven't seen that work.
