After Rashfords performance last night, where would be the best place for Sturridge to watch the England games while on holiday this summer?

Then don't take Lallana, he offers less and can't play the variety of roles jack can?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They play in completely different positions and he offers something that others don't. There are players that don't play for Liverpool that could be dropped, you know that right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I do. I fully expect Barkley to miss out.
But why do you think Lallana and Wilshire play different roles? Have you not watch young Jack develop at club and international level? If you had then you will be aware he is better moved forward and is filling a deep laying role for England....
One he does better than experts in this position in most matches.
But with three CB's going and Dier the adaptable player not taking Drinkwater would be unwise. So someone has to miss out.
Logic would point to Lallana as Sterling can play across the supporting forward MF players. Rooney has shown his versatility.
So Barkley and Lallana look to miss out with Studge
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why? Because they play completely different positions and are completely different types of players. Lallana has played most of his career wide. He cuts in from wide positions, you could say he's a wide forward. He can also play through the centre. Wilshere has played most of his career in midfield but can also play deeper or behind the striker. Regardless, both players are needed as they offer something different from others in their respective positions.
Logic pointing to Sterling as he can play across all attacking positions is a strange one as that's exactly what Lallana does and has done throughout his career. Again however, both players are needed.
The likely players to drop out, assuming all are fit are Drinkwater, Delph and Townsend, for me. They're the three worst players in the squad and have players in their positions better than them.

Why would you bother taking sturridge?
Waste of a spot.
He plays 1 or 2 games before getting injured.
He has the durability of wet toilet paper

Lallana, a player who will be left out as Rooney can do a better job.
Clyne is a shoe in, he is the best RB and should have been first choice 3 years ago

Lallana will go, he's been in every squad for ages and is a possible starter. I can understand the Sturridge debate as he might be injured but Lallana isn't even a doubt.

Sturridge should spend summer in Lourdes.

Don't think Madonna would approve of this.

Actually take Sturridge and dump Delph.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or just don't take half inured players. So don't take Wilshire, Delph, Sturridge and anyone else just back from injury.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You make a good point, however Drinkwater and Townsend are shiiite

Sturridge when fit is England's most talented striker. However, I do think he may find himself on his holidays during the Euro's.
Lallana will go.
Woy may well have a wethinky wegards Dwinky. He plays exceptionally in a well organised Leicester team, but I'm not confident he will adapt to a different system(s) will England will employ.

Doesn't it? Who has a better strike rate?

We still on Lallana.............
His international strike rate is zero I believe.
