Dier could be Dire

Roy Hodgson's decision not to take Danny Drinkwater to the Euro finals may well seriously backfire on him. There is no doubt that Eric Dier is a talented defensive midfielder but he is very prone to yellow cards. During the 2015-16 season he received 10 yellows. His physical presence and playing style may not go down too well with continental referees and with any player only needing two yellow cards prior to the semi finals to get a one match ban this may be Hodgson's downfall. Without a credible backup to Dier for protecting England's vulnerable back four there may well be some nervous games ahead.

For years fans at clubs like your complained when players got picked who played for the big clubs, now you've won the league you're complaining players from mid table are getting in ahead of players who played for the team who won the league.

Your ignorance isn't really a surprise!

Yeah that's right Toor. All the rest of the team just passed the ball to Mahrez or Vardy and then did nothing else for the 90 minutes except 'try hard'

What a facking tool you are. Drinkwater was one of the standout performers alongside Mahrez, Kante and Vardy. He didn't just go and fetch the ball for them. He was the engine of our midfield, picking out the right pass to open up play, dictating the tempo and making crucial interceptions

He was praised by nearly every pundit and it's nothing to do with us winning the league, he earned his call up on merit. The fact that the likes of Shearer, who has no Leicester bias, is criticising the decision to leave him out should be ringing some alarm bells across the three brain cells you possess

Well it's good it hasn't surprised you. There's nothing worse than getting a huge shock when somebody disagrees with you out of the blue. Imagine picking a twenty-three man squad and then the shock when you didn't pick a player from a club whose fans lambast you for it. If only he had picked Drinkwater to get away from that. Although I'm sure there would have been fans of another club waiting in the wings to complain about their player missing out.

Unfortunately you can't pick everyone and Roy has went for the better and more experienced players at International level over the poorer player with no real experience. Not really a huge surprise, as you say.

Not to mention the fact that Drinkwater was only originally picked for a squad place and young Rashford forces Roy to pick him ahead of Drinkwater and yet you people are talking about Dier and Henderson who wouldn't have missed out had Drinkwater scraped into the squad as they are several tiers about in the starting lineup.

If rashford hasn't have gone then Roy would have likely picked an attacking midfield alternative such as Townsend, not another DM you facktard.

The choice was always between Henderson (who has been utter garbage recently), Wilshere (not a DM), Milner and Dier

No he hasn't. He said he picked rashford (an attacker) over taking an extra midfielder and gave that as a reason as to why Drinkwater and Townsend missed out. If he hadn't have taken rashford then he would have taken one of of them

If you had an iq that went into double figures you would quickly be able to work out that even Roy wouldn't ditch rashford for the sake of taking 3 dms.....

.....and read between the lines here.

Roy is coming under alot of pressure from senior pros within the game for.leaving Drinkwater out. Referencing rashford as an option of taking an extra attacker is designed to take the pressure off because everyone agrees he should go.

Its a complete red herring. It was never between rashford and Drinkwater - wilshere, hendo and Milner were always going to be the midfield core.

"No he hasn't."

Yeah he did. As I said before Drinkwater would have gone as a squad player had he scraped in but Rashford scraped in ahead of him. Hodgson said it himself. I think Hodgson knows what he thinks more than you do, master of the IQ.

For such a high IQ you aren't half stupid.
