I’ve never been comfortable with those acronyms anyway (AKB/WOB) as they’re somewhat childish and divisive.

Not really, it just reminds us how fragile he is. For example, are you really expecting Wilshere to be fit for most of the season?

Only costs us about £4.5 million a year to keep Wilshere at the club for the homegrown quota.

An English replacement at his level would cost at least £25-35 million, plus about £5-6 million p/a in wages.

Very easy choice for Gazidis to make.

Don't need him to satisfy any homegrown quota requirements.

As mentioned, midfield is not a problem, don't even see where he fits now unless he can prove us otherwise. Defo had talent but becoming surplus to requirement to keep him.

Every damn year he's out for a 'week' just before the season is about to start. What a waste of talent. What could've been...no doubt if he didn't get all those injuries, he would've been subject of bids 70mill+ from Barca/Madrid and a contender for Ballon d'Or final 23.

Whilst people probably are overreacting this is Jack we are talking about. He could miss a game over the Christmas period due to a cold and people would fear he's dying from cancer.
