I honestly reckon we'll see Welbeck return before Wilshere

I have not even factored Wilshere in this coming season.

Should sold him to Pep when we had the chance.

Which British player will be out next?

Chambers 7-2
Ox Evens
Gibbs 2-1
Walcott 1-1000
Ramsey 1-20
New guy from Bolton 10-1

It's all the W's I tell you. They are jinxed!
Wilshere
Welbeck
Walcott
Alex Woxlade Chamerlain

I have had enough of it.

Only costs us about £4.5 million a year to keep Wilshere at the club for the homegrown quota.

An English replacement at his level would cost at least £25-35 million, plus about £5-6 million p/a in wages.

Very easy choice for Gazidis to make.

What an unfortunate waste of such a talented player. I hope it's nothing too serious.

It's not...It's his lifestyle choices.

Go away Galv.

I understand JW picked up a knock to his knee in training. AW stated he will go with the squad to Norway on Thursday.

Not sure how picking up an impact injury while training can in turn be attributed to a “lifestyle choice”

Guys a friggin sick note.

No worries now though IMO we have xhaka and Elneny now, if Ramsey can stay to form like the euros , Jack might as well get stoned for the rest of his career.

WWSPD is turning into a proper AKB.
Would put Crouch to shame these days.

Wilshere the smoker and drinker coincidentally has huge injury issues. Giroud the clean eating, health nut never gets injured.

While it is of course ridiculous to suggest you can take much from an example involving just two subjects I think it's fair to expect a player like Wilshere to change his lifestyle in an attempt to get fit.

Waste of time. Waste of wages. The modern game may clearly lack strikers, but quality midfielders are bountiful. Wilshere is just a waste of time and while I don't expect us to ship him out anytime soon, we should be looking to get rid. Guy is stealing a living on £90k a week, with soon to be renegotiated (upward) wages. To think that Eriksen in Spurs earns a 3rd of that should give one pause.

Give Wilshere one more season as we should have bigger issues to sort this summer.

One more season to prove himself as we are not dependant on him playing in MF.... then move on

What on earth does a training ground injury to JW have to do with AW??

I’ve never been comfortable with those acronyms anyway (AKB/WOB) as they’re somewhat childish and divisive.
