Finally - it has taken a long time - we are back to where we left off in May. No big signings, no big egos, Nigel P deciding what the majority of us knew/thought that the majority of the squad CAN be good/ excellent players and that someone just needs to harness and realise that potential....
Or maybe not.....
Lots of enthusiasm and optimism abounds from the Rams faithful and even if I am in a hotter warmer climate, a place which Richard Keogh claimed was not as good as the iPro, I and middle-born will (when she gets up of course, oh and for her information, does anyone know anything about Malia? đ¤) will be with you in spirit and are gutted that we are missing this. Now I know what Igor feels like being afar from the iPro but minus the rain and traffic jams . Also, lets hope our flag bearer for Barnsley will be fully OK to lead the team out
Kick-off here will be at a local time of 1700. For the first time in years, The Rams are not being being broadcast live and we have to be satisfied with F@**t v Burton đĄ.
Would be lovely to see all the old guard back on here contributing and also a some posters to give us that cutting edge, eclectic, superior discursive high standard of debate.....that we are so used to of course.
To the day. A lot of speculation about the starting line up. Martin or Bent seems to be the main debating point but of course there is the midfield conundrum and fitting in 3/4 players to a system which will produce goals. Nigel P seems to like Blackman, will this see the demise of Johnny? Me? Let's go with wot finished at Hull and take it from there. Let's face it, 'ote could happen and are Newcastle still favourites to go up???
Team news to appear
Carson, Christie, Keogh (C), Shackell, Baird; Blackman, Bryson, Hendrick, Johnson; Ince, Bent
Substitutes: Grant, Russell, Martin, Pearce, Butterfield, Hughes, Lowe
Derby County 0 -0 Brighton & Hove Albion

You can always get it on catch-up, Pablo.....

Thing is the team Saturday was not the one originally picked. Forsyth & Weimann were playing down the left. Baird & Johnson played only because them pair were out.

I can yes but I was hoping it would spark some debate also. Plus I wouldn't have to listen to the whole hour long show but nevermind.

Not particularly noteworthy, Pablo, apart from a tweet from Marcodcfc, mirroring Backo's point above

I've heard Bradley Johnson wants to leave. Well I've just been down to the petrol station and filled my car up if he needs a lift. Connor Sammon was slated by the Derby fans but he put in more of an effort than lazy Johnson

He'll never find a bigger club than Derby City

Connor Sammon was one of the most gifted players ever to grace our hallowed turf, capable of scoring with virtually every part of his body.
Sadly, succesive managers and coaches failed to develop this, and a vocal minority of fans did not recognise his abilities.
Anyway, I suppose it's time to move on...............

Ok Ang.
A mate text me earlier to say that he had read on a forum that someone had said not to expect to see Johnson in a Derby shirt again. Said he was reliable source. Thought it might be you griff but he said it wasn't on this one. You seem to back it up though.

I can get 700miles out of a tank full so that could get BJ well away from the club. Hell, I'd even stick another tank in.

My old man has a bad hip and can barely mow his lawn anymore but he would probably give him a piggy back to the club of his choice if we're stuck for transport Iwas.
