Liverpool finishing trophyless after a big pre season win has no real relevance to us, but liverpool denying us of 4 points last season has a lot of relevance. So hopefully your hypothesis of history repeating itself won't come true

I didn't realise we played dortmund last preseason season and spanked them. I think k you getting the seasons mixed up. But yes pre season means jack.

We usually play well against Klopp at the Emirates, but it's the first game, so anything can happen really. If they press like they did in the first half today, I reckon we'll struggle.

And if Mane scores 5 goals at the Emirates and the return fixture in 2 5-0 spankings that end up costing us the title on goal difference it still won't mean we should have signed him. We are better than Liverpool. Better players, better team, better stadium, better facilities. We should beat them home and away Mane or no Mane. Problem is our tactically inept manager will cost us as he does every season. He's the problem, not his lack of interest in average/inconsistent/flash in the pan frauds like Mane, Mickytarion, etc that our fans cream themselves over every season

Even with our failure of a manager we've stagnated our way from 4th, to 3rd to 2nd the last 3 seasons and won 2 FA Cup trophies. Whereas Liverpool who chop and change after every mid table trophiless season and spend tens of millions on average mid table players every season and still finish below us.

And no you had no point to make, you just made your typical defensive small mentality comment anybody questions what your joke of a club does.
