prime example of why it's not been an 'excellent' window as you keep saying.

Whilst we've made astute signing in Wanyama & Janssen,

we're still cluttered with below average players like Carroll & Mason where we could've done with bringin in replacements to boost the quality of depth in the squad.

I still think that should there be injuries in certain positions... we're gonna struggle to replace them like for like in terms of quality.

I'm not one of the deluded lot on here (Don) to think we should be signing Draxler / Gotze / Lacasette/ Batshuyi for £30m+ but there are obviously better players out there than Mason, Carroll that we could bring in for decent fees

If we're unable to find better players than the pair of them, or unwilling to spend the cash to buy them (only need one) then we as a club need to take a long, hard look at ourselves. Mason is the English Darren Gibson

Why are a lot of pundits saying we will struggle with the extra pressure of Champions league football and therefore won't finish as high in the league this season?

Because you bottled all the cups last season to come third and Spurs won't be able to throw the CL this season due to the cash involved.

I think you need to learn what 'bottled' actually means. Such a facking over used term.

It means not playing to your best when under pressure.

well we haven't sold him yet ! and we haven't signed the replacement (surely we will)

as things stand its no serious ballers out, and two serious ballers in, in key positions.

exactly what we needed so far.

Never listen to football pundits,they all have their own agendas and allegiances, very few give a completely unbiased opinion.

The same mugs said we would struggle last season, they said Leicester would be relegated, they said United would qualify for the CL and they said Chelsea and Pool would challenge for the title.

Enough said.

But we should all listen to Bitter Billy for a balanced view point
