This is what you'll be up against Pep, washed up managers who play 6 at the back and four centre backs .
Thought we zipped it around nice and quick today although poor in the final 3rd....Early days though!!
Sterling looked like a new man
Victory for football

Definitely a work in progress but some really positive signs. Excellent debut from Stones. Nice to see Raheem effective on the right. I think we all knew Aleks isn't a full back, but centre back? Who knew?
Shout out to my mate who left a minute before the winner saying he couldn't see a winner coming

Stones and sterling were brilliant today.
Thought Delph played well when he came on.

Stones looked very good. Perfect defender for a team that will rarely need to defend this season.

First impressions of Jose's United?
Dull, boring, sleep inducing. All that money spent and they can barely muster more possession than Bournemouth.

Beating possibly the worst team in the League by a penalty and an own goal is nothing to get excited about.

Yes it is.

So the Pep revolution is here and what a back to the future it was.
We all thought football had moved on in the past 50 years but Pep set the team out the same way my coach at school did.
2-3-5
How soon before he gets found out?

Thought we'd won, thought you'd lost.
Maybe we have gone back in time 50 years.

Far too early to tell yet. The real test is the Premier League which is a long campaign. It should be an interesting season. To quite honest, I don't think much of Euro footie at any level, but obviously the powers that be at City have made it a priority to succeed in Europe.
