We are truly the damned United!
A big splash is made of signing another kid, (with reported potential) that no-ones ever heard of and of the fact that Denton has been tied to a further 3 years.
We are owned by an Italian version of Bates, as the motivation behind these signings is the same as his modus operandi at Caligiari, namely make a profit via player sales. We may as well change our name to feeder club United, as any potential developed will be harvested by a Premiership club. What makes it worse is that this clown doesn't even appear to have the business acumen to get market value. He sold Byram at a knockdown price and now Taylor appears to be running his contract down! For the older generations (like me) it's purgatory, there's no light at the end of this tunnel!
FFS sell up and **** off!

You prefer we didn't sign an academy lad who
likes like he's going to push Charlie?
I thought everyone was upset because we didn't
sign our academy lads? Mental.

harj, do a search for "Donald Sterling forced sale of Los Angeles Clippers" and tell me if you think a forced sale would be bad for the Big C if Leeds got to the Prom.

just read it jla & sterling is just a little racist s*it who imo deserve to lose that battle...as for cellino if he was forced to step down due to premier league rules...well rules are rules are they not ?

Steve Ballmer is almost as bat sh * T crazy as Sterling.
Only difference is, Sterling was actually declared a nut, officially. Ballmer at the Microsoft Ra-Ra events was excruciating, and highly entertaining all at once.
However, Ballmer does love sports and does have
27.7 Billion US Dollars in his pocket.

And yes harj, Sterling was an outright racist idiot.

harj, my point is that despite being forced to sell for being such an idiot, he made a YOUGE profit. As would the Big C if he had to sell because Leeds got promoted.
By the way I think the FA/government should come up with a test for owners and directors that is applied uniformly to all of football's professional leagues - ridiculous that Prem and FL is different.

jla...but knowing cellino he would want more...ie if someone offered £200 mill for us.....he'd want £500mill for us....its called being a greedy kunta....

Forced sale does not work that way. There will effectively be an auction. Highest bidder gest it, byebye Big C!
The FL can always ask the NBA to help out.

What grounds do they have to classify him as not fit and proper? I thought all the previous stuff had been quashed.
They know he's a manager-eating nutter and no-one likes him, but I'm not sure they have any real evidence anymore that allows them to force him out.
He would probably just accept not getting promoted and use the media attention to lambast the PL for a season or two, trying to take them to court, before we got relegated to League 1

Quashed by FL, not by Prem.
