Oxlade-Chamberlain

This guy is shiiiite!

Trips over the ball, loses control, misplaces simple passes. He's the new Theo!

Ridiculous theory. Show me these stats.

Use the Squawka comparison tool.

14-15 PL
Hazard completed 4.80 dribbles per 90, on 64 pct completion
Ox completed a whopping 5.01 dribbles per 90, on 67 pct

15-16 PL
Ox completed a staggering 71 pct of his dribbles; Hazard only 62 pct.

When we played Bayern away in 2014, Ox completed as many dribbles as the entire Bayern team (10).

Do you mean use the LiquidGenius brain here.

How many games did Oxlade Chaimberlin play in though, he will have a better completion than Hazard.

Look at this stat then, who creates more goals or chances per dribble? Hazard or Ox? I think it will be Hazard. That proves who the better dribbler is. The better dribbler is the one who gets the assists or goals, from the dribbles. So I think I'd place a very safe bet that would be Hazard. Or are you going to give me potentially more bullshat facts like usual. Just like your theory that "winning doesn't matter". Yeah, maybe that's why Arsenal finish 4th every year and not "winning" trophies.

That's one game though as well regardless of the opposition.

Very underrated.

Not a left-winger though - should be played as a right winger if he's going to start - both his dribbling and his crossing looks much better playing on his natural side.

Last season he was MOTM against Chelsea in the Community Shield down the right, and absolutely ran Azpilicueta ragged....Wenger says this will be his season to shine - plays one game in the PL and then gets dropped.
Comes back against Newcastle, gets us the winner/the only goal of the game, then gets dropped.

Overall, he played as a right-winger, a right-back, a left winger, an attacking midfielder, and a box-to-box defensive midfielder last season.

His injuries haven't helped, but constantly getting dropped even when he plays well, as well as being asked to play in 5 completely different positions over the course of the season is also likely to have contributed to his mixed form.

I mean, Ozil is arguably the most talented player we've had in years, and look how poor he looked when asked to play as a wideman. Same with Cazorla.

I don't see how Wenger expects to get the best out of a player when he keeps messing around with their selection and their position.

What exactly is the point of dribbling with the ball when he just falls over 5 seconds later, runs out of play or passes it straight to the other team?

Only reason why people rate him is because he's English. Any other nationality and he was have alot more haters.

It is a shame. Our players definitely need more haters.

In 2014/15 Hazard completed 180 at 64% with Ox at 83 with 67% and 2015/2016 is similar with Hazard completing over double the dribbles with only a small drop off in success rate. The difference between try the percentage is not as significant as the difference between the actual amount of take ons. Did you use it for this season?

If he used it for this season Hazard will have more dribbles in 10 minutes than Oxlade-Chaimberlin probably.

Knowing him all of his stats will be sh@t anyway, made up.

I guess that is the only stats that we won in this game. I am wondering that Bayern did not come back with a 50 Million offer for him!

Yeah but the per 90 metrics are more useful since Ox misses a lot of games.

Total take-ons will favour the guy that plays way more minutes.

I didn't use it for this season, since it's too early.

But I've never seen Hazard dribble rings around a top team like Ox did to Bayern away in 2014 or United away in the Cup.

I'd much rather have someone that has an end product and contributes more to goals then someone that has great dribbling skills but does faaack all with it 8 times out of 10!
