Blind is a CB

Tired of reading people say they want to see Blind at CM next to Pogba.

1) Blind and Bailly have an excellent partnership
2) Blind is instrumental in our play at the back
3) Blinds passing between the lines sets off many an attack
4) The DM role the way we play requires physicality and like it or not Fellaini is doing well there ATM

Stretty

On the basis that Mik is a far better player than him all round.

You could equally drop Rooney for him but that is unlikely.

We have a winning formula

Bailly & Blind look better than Smalling and Blind

you are right as in 90% of the motivation behind wanting blind to be moved to dm is because I want smalling back. 9% because I'm sure blind will do a better job as cdm than fellaini.

and the final 1% because i think smalling is a better cb than blind with one glaring fault in his game, the ability to play the ball. And this is relieved by playing him next to a ball playing cb like bailly. And we'd still have blind in cdm. We can basically eat our cake and have it

When you say we don't play for a draw, that is exactly what Jose has done in the past against the bigger teams.

VC -Jose is now the managing Us. I don't think he'll be going for draws with this team. His goals are a bit loftier than with Chelsea. That's what I take from recent events at least. He is on a mission this season, to paraphrase Gary Nev "I can smell it in the air".

His goals will be exacyly the same as they were at Chelsea. Win every trophy available.

One thing is sure... I'd be nervous seeing Mata, Rooney and Fellaini up against City. Too slow against a team with pace and nimble, technical players.

Think Fellaini will be out injured anyway.

If only football was as simple as Bailly always playing the ball out.

Why is this a problem? Fellaini is out for at least a month, so we're going to find out.

Mata has kept his place in the side because he's deserved to. He was our best and most dangerous player in the first half yesterday by a mile.

Don't be surprised to see him start against City.
