Miraculous recovery from medical problem that caused his failed medical or his family can now be uprooted to go to Greece. Whichever the reason given for the transfer failure at 'rangers', is has now been shown to be disingenuous. In the future just say the player came up and said 'no danger, I'm off''.

Lescott signs for AEK

Love how all the 'experts' (especially the Tims) have their own take on this. If the real truth be known (which it very rarely is), it's almost certain it fell through on the basis of money. Same thing with Sanderos. Once Rangers can afford it, they will be signing much better players than those two or even some of the ones we have at Ibrox already. It's no great mystery and therefore no big deal. We just have to continue being patient. It's served us well so far.

What's likely happened is lescott got a last minute offer of more money from turkey.

So Phil was right again. It was about the terms of the second year of the contract and not the medical. He has good sources.

What about Adam Rooney on Sunday.
If we didn't lose those late two goals then it's a 2-1 match.
