Great result and performance on Saturday that should hopefully give us a big confidence boost going into the Barca game.
Unfortunately, I think their result at the weekend has pretty much ensured they'll be focused and on form against us which in all likelihood means a fairly comfortable win for them.
Given that probability what should we be looking for as positives in our performance even if we do get beat?
Obviously, not getting hammered would be the first gauge of a decent performance but I think if we can get a goal or create some chances while trying to play some good football it will show an improvement on our last few European outings. I know it's pessimistic as feck given our performances have been great, but realistically Barca away has probably come just too soon.
On to Barca

But if I'm being honest, if we have any hope (however slim) of pipping Monchengladbach to third, we have to match or better their results against Barca and City.

Breaking news:
@celticfc have just released a statement.
"Weather's fine, Barcelona is a great city and the beer is cold"
With regard to the match - give me a 3 nil defeat now and I'd take it.....but.....it's football and you NEVER know <fingerscrossedsmiley>

I'd take a 3-0 as well.
We're trying to better Monchengladbach for third.
Dembele hat trick will do nicely

Not even they can stop Dempele

At least they won't need to be motivated, I would like to see Roberts get a run out tomorrow, but is Forrest the better defensive option?

Think we'll probably go with Forrest from start and bring on Roberts again.
I think it's kinda 50-50 tactically between the two, Forrest will track back more, Roberts would probably keep the ball better.

Bet on Celtic to win at ridiculous odds.
Hope you score a lucky early goal. Hold out for as long as you can and then cash out.
Smash the winnings on 5-1 Barca.

This is what the Rangers fans felt like after demolishing the mighty Linfield 7 nil in a friendly before they faced the big bhoys...don't get caught up in the trouncing of a second rate team..Barca played their youngsters in the recent Dublin friendly and still gubbed us 3-1.
Let's all hope for a 4 nil win tomorrow. ☺

Neither of us played full squads. Especially towards the end of the game.
Won't have an impact on this game mind you. I'd take 2-0 right now

I think we got enough about us to score, it's at the back I'm worried about
Hopefully Toure can help us with some big game experience there, but like you say cali, I'd be content if we kept it to a two goal defeat
