On to Barca

I'm thinking of this game like a round of golf over a difficult course

Par for us: 2 goal defeat
Anything better than that is under par for the round.

Avoid defeat is a a fookin hole in one

Like Chris Sutton said, it's a "free" game. No expectation we can do anything so no pressure.

Agree with you that Barca's weekend result means they'll be fully focused. With Man City in the group, they'll want to top the group to avoid a group winner in the knockout.

This is what the Rangers fans felt like after demolishing the mighty Linfield 7 nil in a friendly before they faced the big bhoys...don't get caught up in the trouncing of a second rate team..Barca played their youngsters in the recent Dublin friendly and still gubbed us 3-1.

Let's all hope for a 4 nil win tomorrow. ☺

That's actually a good analogy, I'd probably be content with a 3-1 Barca if we put up decent fight.

Anything less is a big mark of improvement and any sort of result I'd be amazed.

Bubble relaistically its about keeping the score down, hopefully we can do something that we can take a bit of confidence from like get a goal

4-0 would be a bit of a gutter since we've been playing well but not unexpected if it happened really.

No expectations, they will win, but how many depends on how well we can play, even a performance like Sat could still be 2 or 3 still gonna enjoy the game though or what's the point?

2-0 Celtic in our first game on our way to a historic second European Cup

But if I'm being honest, if we have any hope (however slim) of pipping Monchengladbach to third, we have to match or better their results against Barca and City.

Breaking news:

@celticfc have just released a statement.

"Weather's fine, Barcelona is a great city and the beer is cold"

With regard to the match - give me a 3 nil defeat now and I'd take it.....but.....it's football and you NEVER know <fingerscrossedsmiley>

I'd take a 3-0 as well.

We're trying to better Monchengladbach for third.

Dembele hat trick will do nicely

I liked the first prediction better Juke

Not even they can stop Dempele

At least they won't need to be motivated, I would like to see Roberts get a run out tomorrow, but is Forrest the better defensive option?

Think we'll probably go with Forrest from start and bring on Roberts again.

I think it's kinda 50-50 tactically between the two, Forrest will track back more, Roberts would probably keep the ball better.

Bet on Celtic to win at ridiculous odds.

Hope you score a lucky early goal. Hold out for as long as you can and then cash out.

Smash the winnings on 5-1 Barca.

Neither of us played full squads. Especially towards the end of the game.

Won't have an impact on this game mind you. I'd take 2-0 right now

I think we got enough about us to score, it's at the back I'm worried about

Hopefully Toure can help us with some big game experience there, but like you say cali, I'd be content if we kept it to a two goal defeat
