The number of posts on an article means absolutely nothing in terms of proving your point. I could claim that, as an article praising Downing has attracted so many comments, that this means he is rated higher now than when he was at Villa.

It seems that you didn't even know what the article was about.

Here's some facts for you:

- People were claiming Downing wasn't good enough for England last October
- People are still making that claim.

Do you know if more people are making that claim because he plays for Liverpool?

Should you be telling people that are critical of Downing that they wouldn't be making those comments if he played for Villa still?
