Price of Football across all leagues

I know that the price of a ticket is considerably cheaper in the North West, but I am frankly shocked at the incredible disparity between Arsenal and other London clubs.
Our cheapest season ticket @ £1014 is only ~£200 lower than Chelsea's dearest @ £1250!
Our dearest is a whopping £2013!
Its very expensive and pricing a lot of fans out, and I can see why this is a disincentive for a lot of people. If we were flushed with success aka Man U up to a few seasons ago or Liverpool in the 70's and 80's, maybe, just maybe this could be justified.
Is this really the price of failure?

Paid £202 for mine at my lads seasons tickets for this year. If we didn't go again this season it would work out that it's cost £25.25 for the pair of us each game.

About time some of these greedy PL clubs started giving back to the fans. £2013? Over £100 a match? Fack right off. I could watch my team for a decade for that

I have a soft spot for Hudds Town.

Good club, nice stadium, decent fans, and hate Leeds

The dearest at Arsenal are surely more than 2k? The dearest at United are like £3200 I think.

The price of football in England is out of control really, but we push the ticket prices by continuing to pay, you can't really blame clubs for running their business according to market demands can you?

Good one Nick, how are you going to all these home games from America?

London is great fun.

you mug.

Arsenals season ticket is at least 26 games so some of the extra expense is justified

Still a lot of money though

Not really crouch. Like your being forced to go to the crappy early cup games tbh.

By the time you get to quarter final(especially as arsenal are always drawn at home ) of a competition you will have to pay.

You're not forced into it in the same way Utd fans were (maybe still are, I don't know)

Can always put them up for ticket exchange and recoup some value

so say you get 300 quid for the 7 tickets. that's still 950 for the cheapest ticket. And a lot of extra work.
