FF7 - Remake - discussions

The only FF game I've played is Crisis Core. The ending was epic.......Zach was a brilliant character.

I am more excited for Ni No Kuni II

Play it Ronny, you won't regret it. Very good character development on Zack and adds a lot to the backstory of Cloud & Sephiroth.

Also a great score, as always in Final Fantasy games. Are there any with bad or even average music?

I think what needs to be first and foremost this isnt a remaster or remake. Its a reimaginging of the game. So expects lots of changes. TBH rather than think about it as Resident Evil (PS1) to Resident Evil (GC) think it more of New Hope to EP7. Its more less gonna be the same story but with everything updated and just moved into the next gen of gaming.

Loved it initially but it became waaaay too much of a grind and too same-y. Couldn't finish it. Sad because I loved the world.

Oh and the group AI was HORRIBLE! Too often they'd get themselves killed ruining any chance of victory in a battle.

You make a very good point there Simon .... I guess im just being a stubborn moody git !! I want a revamped FF7 not a different take cos IMO it is very (almost impossible) to better the original and it aint just nostalgia cos I have played it back again as recently as 2 years ago and loved it still
