Cant believe the hate for Ozil this weekend it is embarrassing.
I have been supporting Arsenal for 50 years and have been a season ticket holder for 30 years Ozil is without doubt one of the best players we have ever had at our great club.
Certain people on here have been asking for him to be sold. Are you serious.
Do these people not understand football. I can only think they havent got a clue or just dont see whats going on on the pitch.
LETS GET THIS RIGHT Ozil had a poor game yesterday because of the players behind him, they couldn't string two passes together to get the ball to him. Somebody posted a good article yesterday (apologies cant remember who it was) mentioning that Ozil was a link in a chain if those links before him dont work it is very difficult for him to be at his best.
Ozil is not one of those players who takes a game by the scruff of the neck and changes the outcome. If you knew your football, you should have known that was the case throughout his past career.
Accept his lack of tackling and running around like a headless chicken for his brilliance. Although he played poorly yesterday he still managed to play two sublime passes that could have resulted in a goal.
He knew exactly what was happening during the game yesterday and was telling everyone to push up to stop the City flow.
This guy knows what he is doing and it is a privilege to watch him play at the Arsenal.

Yeah neither do ex footballers
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The ex footballers on tv tend to be overly dramatic because of trying to provide entertainment

Also when it comes to ozil I think some find his style annoying as he makes it look too easy. All these British pundits are obsessed with players showing 'desire'. That's probably the most used word on sky sports

yeah much rather have ozil's lazy style compared to sanchez' desire
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I never said desire isn't important and I agree that ozil should work harder to win the ball back after he loses it. It's just that there are more important things than desire-ability on the ball being an obvious one. To be fair these days most pundits do recognise his ability even if it took them a while to get over his languid style

Garwood
Arshavin is in the top 5 best arsenal players ever. After you said that you should have left this site. Don't talk about people not knowing what they are talking about, you have chatted so much rubbish is ridiculous.

He just goes to games to have a go at Walcott. Wonder what he did when Theo scored yesterday, boot must have gone through the tv!.

If Ozil is one of best players you've seen in 50 years then you're either blind or been massively short changed. He's a flat track bully. Goes missing second somebody puts their foot in.
I can name 6 or 7 from your 98-2004 era easily better than him. Probably more.

For a little guy Cazorla does far more than Ozil and is equally as creative as him.
Always gets stuck in
