Eng v Ind 3rd(or is it 1st) ODI.

The weather at the Oval today is set fair for certain completion of the 50 over game, will a little sunshine raise India to a higher level.
As for England, with Morgan out injured they have interesting selection issues.
Clearly Cook, Kieswetter, Trott and Bell will fill the top four batting positions and Broad, Swann and Dernbach will play.
So far Stokes has yet to strike a ball in anger and surely they will give him an opportunity today.
I don't see Finn playing today so that leaves Bopara, Patel, Bresnan and Anderson fighting for the other places.
If they go for batting strength then Anderson will miss out, but the way England's top order scored against Indian bowling on Tuesday and the return of Trott, they may decide on more bowling.
Anderson's 1-11 off 3 overs on tuesday must surely have impressed Flower so it's Bopara v Patel for the last place. An extra spin option may win the day but Essex boy seems to lead a charmed life.
On the basis that they want to take Patel to India in October he may get the nod.
If Bopara doesn't play Stokes will bat at five.

Cook
Kieswetter
Trott
Bell
Stokes
Patel
Bresnan
Broard
Swann
Anderson
Dernbach

TThat's my team but wouldn't be surprised to see Bopara at five and Stokes at six.

This is Jimmy's 'one man show' so far.

What odds will you get on Stokes playing 5 ODI games as a batsman and never get to the crease.

Bell out, he does seem to find ways of getting out when in total control

Stokes out, India's reserves are beating England here. It's up to Bopara now.

People keep mentioning that Bopara is included because of his bowling - but he is hardly ever used as a bowler, they just don;t want him for that.

2nd ODI, he bowled 1 over for 1 wicket and 4 runs. But they still didn't give him a second over!
