Neon, agreed. Lets hope the thread is about the cricket and cricket only, and in cricketing terms of course, lets hope India get smashed like they have in the past 8 games whilst in england.....

Your team looks a little weak on batting.

Maybe Bopara for one of the bowlers?

Neon if this turns into another Pakistan v India rant the delete button will be very active.

As for India winning why not, in this format England have a history of failing behind them.
I don't think it will happen though unless India have discovered some bowling energy overnight. Even Praveen looks to have thrown in the towel by his body language on Tuesday.

Cant say i blame him, the guy (along with dravid) has worked his socks off for india bowling over after over. Indias bowling will have to do alot more to seeing england out, rp singh should play. Doesnt make sense that they play him in tests but not ODIs.

Ginger as I mentioned I'm unsure about Bopara's place, a lot may depend on the wicket and how much cloud cover is around.

i'm wit ginger on this one

patel and stokes at 5/6 then into the bowlers is just too weak in batting imo

i dont like bopara and wouldn't have him anywhere near the squad but given he is the only other option i think hes got to play

tough decision for england on which bowler misses out for him, dernbach is the obvious option but i think england will want to give him as much experience as possible

I would swap Bopara for Anderson to bolster the batting.

Also, i believe that the young quick Aaron & the allrounder Jadeja will be called up today.

With the return of Trott do we need Bopara?
Bresnan, Broad and Swann are not useless with the bat.
I suspect it will be a case of 'belt and braces' in favour of batting and Bopara will play which ijn my opinion will be a cop out.

I'd like to see a batting rather than bowling allrounder at seven.

I agree ginger

I honestly believe that it will be a close game if not an Indian win.

All i know is England need to make some vast improvements in ODI cricket & everyone knows that India's bowling is their weakness

Well India are definitely capable of causing an upset. Its always good to pay respect to your opponents Crazy4Cricket .

not sure tbh , i think england are a much better side when chasing and with the team we are likely to see today bowling first might be a better option
