Since you started supporting Arsenal?
For me it has to be:
1. Robert Pires: The Frenchman was a joy to watch. Scored some sublime goals and his creativity was immense.
2. Thierry Henry: This guy should make most people's list. Every match he was a handful for defences. How I wish we had anyone even close to him at the club now...
3. Cesc Fabregas: now this will be a controversial one for many on this site but during his eight or so years at the club he was a joy to watch. Making his debut at such a young age for us and playing such an integral role in our play. Some amazing moments.

ps im not saying that Viera or Pires shouldnt be in peoples lists an arguement could be made for each of them. just suprised that only one person (who's list i didnt see initially) had Dennis

Dennis was terrific but it is arguable that both Wright and Henry made Dennis drop back and find his niche. They made the runs that utilised his creativity. Henry on the other hand could make goals out of nothing and was just as good with Wiltord, Pires, Freddie, Kanu and Vieira. The invincibles were just such a top group. That Wayne Bridge goal haunts me today. We should have won the Champions League as well going the season unbeaten.

Its subjective really, the best player ever at Arsenal was arguably Henry.... but despite him being great, I preferred other players.
I like Pire, Nicholas and Wright, but could easily have mentioned, Limpar, Merson, Alan Smith, Rocastle, Adams, Brady, McLintock, Samson, Groves, Bergkamp, O'Leary, Graham etc.
better to say under AW or pre-Aw maybe!

A shining beacon of hope to all of us midfield grafters who have had to share a pitch with them flashy types.
