So tonight's game

Was an awful spectacle. I agree. Terrible. It harked back to the lvg days in terms of entertainment quality.

That said, there are 4 write off games a season, city home and away and same for Chelsea. So anything we get from said games are a bonus.

We have a point. If we win our game in hand, we leapfrog Liverpool.

Today was about a result and we got that.

Onto the next, we have far more pressing things to worry about than how we played tonight.

We're still fighting on two fronts.

Oh and yes fellaini is embarrassment and I look forward to the day he is sold and we buy a football player in his position. That will be nice.

Liverpool also play more long balls than United.

Aye, awful spectacle, but a win against Swansea and we move into 4th or 3rd, that's what Jose was interested in.

Then it's Arsenal after that in the league, a team who Jose has a good record against, we'll probably go for it a bit more, hopefully.

As negative as we were City really weren't all that, Aguero had a near post chance then an overhit volley in injury time but we had two great chances of our own, they certainly didn't deserve three points imo.

better,,,,,we dont play "that" way, your manager does though. It seems to me that its not failani u should be having a go at but the manager that plays a system that utilises him...eh?

Except you do, Klopp has played a CB up front countless times to get a result. He did it against Wolves ffs

Yeah, your problem is an ability to count above 2.

"we'll probably go for it a bit more, hopefully." NO CHANCE OF THAT

Why are they write off games?

We got 4 points vs City last season and 2 points vs Chelsea.

Idiotic suggestion tbh.

Fact is nobody would be moaning about the performance had Herrera's header been on target and went in. It's how we've played for a long time against the bigger sides, including the great man. I remember us going toe to toe with the big sides in the past sometimes it works sometimes we get hammered. Had we played a bit higher up, I suspect we would have got pumped

" It's how we've played for a long time against the bigger sides, including the great man. "

We had our worst possession stats in a game ever recorded.

We literally didn't make an attempt to attack or commit more than Rashford forward for 60 minutes .

We may have defended and looked to counter in the past, but we haven't parked the bus like that. Only once I can think of was when Kompany scored and we lost 1-0, but it wasn't THAT bad.

Agree. Even in 2012 United set themselves up to lose but they still tried to play out.

Last night was just hoof ball.

United got what they came for so Maureen can claim a tactical victory but that performance was below United for me. They should be better than that.

The reaction of the supporters at the game was embarrassing as well.

Celebrating a nil-nil draw with 10 men behind the ball against City, as if they'd won the league. Never thought I see the day that happened.

In a way I saw it as a compliment for City

Oh well.

Onwards and hopefully upwards.
