This is the first time since the Moyes era that Man City got the better h2h if playing like a european knockout stage game. We would have knocked Man City and Chelsea out last season if it was a CL tie.
y do u guys give failani a hard time? he plays a certain way and in that way hes probably one of teh leagues best. I seen many times his knock downs or headers win games for utd.

then you can take him and Klopp can play him up front instead of Matip or Klavan when you're chasing a game.
better,,,,,we dont play "that" way, your manager does though. It seems to me that its not failani u should be having a go at but the manager that plays a system that utilises him...eh?

Fellaini has the 20th best performance score and considering he plays regularly he should have higher total performance score but he is shocking near every game.

Except you do, Klopp has played a CB up front countless times to get a result. He did it against Wolves ffs
Liverpool also play more long balls than United.
Aye, awful spectacle, but a win against Swansea and we move into 4th or 3rd, that's what Jose was interested in.
Then it's Arsenal after that in the league, a team who Jose has a good record against, we'll probably go for it a bit more, hopefully.
As negative as we were City really weren't all that, Aguero had a near post chance then an overhit volley in injury time but we had two great chances of our own, they certainly didn't deserve three points imo.

Yeah, your problem is an ability to count above 2.

Why are they write off games?
We got 4 points vs City last season and 2 points vs Chelsea.
Idiotic suggestion tbh.
Fact is nobody would be moaning about the performance had Herrera's header been on target and went in. It's how we've played for a long time against the bigger sides, including the great man. I remember us going toe to toe with the big sides in the past sometimes it works sometimes we get hammered. Had we played a bit higher up, I suspect we would have got pumped
" It's how we've played for a long time against the bigger sides, including the great man. "
We had our worst possession stats in a game ever recorded.
We literally didn't make an attempt to attack or commit more than Rashford forward for 60 minutes .
We may have defended and looked to counter in the past, but we haven't parked the bus like that. Only once I can think of was when Kompany scored and we lost 1-0, but it wasn't THAT bad.

Agree. Even in 2012 United set themselves up to lose but they still tried to play out.
Last night was just hoof ball.
United got what they came for so Maureen can claim a tactical victory but that performance was below United for me. They should be better than that.
The reaction of the supporters at the game was embarrassing as well.
Celebrating a nil-nil draw with 10 men behind the ball against City, as if they'd won the league. Never thought I see the day that happened.
In a way I saw it as a compliment for City
Oh well.
Onwards and hopefully upwards.
