Thanks for your participation this season
Exeter home:
Result - loss
Score - 1-3
Scorer - Copps
Crowd - 7790
No one had predicted us to lose as was the case in many games towards the end of the season therefore Nookie was the only predictor to predict Copps to score picking up 3 points.
For the crowd of 7790 Selbyrover, Ottersrevenge and Mickey with 5 points for being within 100 of the attendance. Nookie with 4 points. Myself with 3 points and AussieLad with 2 points.
Hartlepool away:
Result - loss
Score - 1-2
Scorer - Williams
Crowd - 6799
Uthred with 8 points for the correct result and score Donaldo also with 3 points for the correct result.
Mooligan, YorkshireLad and King Chomprrr with 3 points for the first scorer
Strangely enough no one had predicted to within 500 of the attendance.
So here's the final standings.
AussieLad 227
Mooligan 224
Uthred 220
Donaldo 219
YorkshireLad 216
Azza 213
BVZ 212
KingChomprrrrr 194
Cheltenhamrover 182
Mickey 177
SmallAzza 165
Crazyrover 144
Selbyrover 143

Well done to AussieLad on winning the 16/17 Dpl thanks to all who participated throughout the season.

Just about sums up the corporate mentality of the media team there.

Looking through the list of L1 transfers already done shows relatively few moves thus far and lots where players who are out of contract gone for the club offering the best terms with length of contract being a desirable element at this level. In this respect Rovers do seem to be doing their best to provide more longevity than most which of course carries risk, but broadly speaking is surely the best way to go.
So there must be quite a large pool of players wondering whether to stick or opt for a move, but clearly decisions on both sides will be more marginal. In an ideal world DF would have hoped to have got it all buttoned up by now, so some targets may still be available and contemplating competing offers, but others (like the fled Dutchman) will have chosen alternative destinations.

I remember in SOD's days, transfers usually came through quite late. Clubs quite often need to sort their own acquisitions out before releasing players, so it may be that in some cases, that's what we're waiting for - and of course, the longer this takes, the greater the chance of other clubs muscling in on our targets. Still, I do think the club is trying. I think they believe in DF and are therefore prepared to invest (within reason).

Thanks for biting on the bait Hound I new I'd rely on you even for a p take 😜
The club will be looking but will be waiting for July 1st as will many clubs to see the official released players and then I expect some activity.

You are welcome azza.
My response was very tongue in cheek but I guess it is hard to tell that from the written word.
Anyway, roll on August 5th.
We need some football action to get the debates flowing again.
