Yes well done Aussielad even if it did involve forecasting the odd defeat, but then so did I!

Thanks for all your work Azza. What a pity that Derek did not stay with us to enjoy the promotion. Perhaps where he is, the team you support comes top and gets promoted every year and then after 4 years it wins the European Cup.

Well done aussie.
As a past winner I realise how difficult it is to win.
Farewell to our missing friends.
Take Care all of you.

Congratulations Aussie
A thoroughly enjoyable contest.
Many, many thanks to Azza for his excellent coordination all season.
A nice gesture to remember NY.
Enjoy the summer everyone.

Does anyone know any of DF's summer signing targets? A left back is lined up to sign on 1 June it seems.

Last year no one knew who was going to be signed until the deal was done so there is no reason why it should be different this time.
(although a little dicky bird has told me that Madden is coming to us).

One the plus side....he can't be as bad as his pedigree suggests.

Well done Azza. Well done Aussie.
Nice gesture for Yankee, I know only to well about that barsteward cancer. I got lucky with them finding it early, having the tumour removed and got the all clear a few weeks ago.

I'd like to ask fellow Rovers fans about next seasons DPL. What are your thoughts on renaming it after our great friend who is no longer with us.
God Bless Yankee

See you all next season.

A Yankee is some sort of bet anyway isn't it? A good idea.

As Yankee lived in Wisconsin, the self-proclaimed home of cheese in the USA, maybe we should call it the Cheesehead League (the fans of the Green Bay Packers who play some distorted form of Rugby are called Cheeseheads).

By the way, the thought of 'Uddersfield in the Premier League is somewhat disturbing as there will be Brighton and Bournemouth as well! We should be there. It is amazing that a team can get promoted with a negative goal difference on the season, and who only scored one goal (other than penalties) in the play-offs. Must be pretty exciting to watch them!

PDXMickyB: I have not seen much of them this season, but they have been more entertaining than Reading (GD +4) in the play-offs. They did play in an enterprising style, but were not too good once in the box, so you wonder if they will survive, but it's a good thing for Yorkshire football. (Reading used to be far more exciting before Jaap Stam took over and have had their chances in the PL in recent years and not capitalised.)

So I thought they did deserve to win even though the football did not seem that much better than Exeter-Blackpool which I quite enjoyed except for the result. Blackpool were more direct though and you have to admire the spirit of a team which operates in such poisonous surroundings.

Well that's Andrews done n dusted

Huddersfield didn't actually score themselves in the play offs.
Their scorer against Sheffield Weds was in fact a Weds defender.

Hope we do sign the lad from Fylde. Have a look on you tube, he's scored some right crackers. 👍

It would be an even bigger step up for him than the one Alfie May took.
