Think it's obvious we need improvements. Poch said the same just days ago. Thankful to Davies for his efforts but if Rose was unfit for a crunch champs league game, I'd want a better player to call up than Davies. Those wanting the young lad sessegnon, would you want him as cover for Rose in this scenario? I think we need signings to challenge the first 11. Yes, sign players for their potential too, but we need better replacements/squad players now.
Previously I mentioned Bertrand as cover for Rose. But maybe we need to show clear intent. Same for right hand side. I truly hope Levy realises this is what he has been waiting for - new shiny stadium in the pipeline, sensational coach in place, wonderful squad of talented young players - so even with the new stadium, Levy finds it within himself and commits some dosh to whoever Poch wants. No more Sissoko's, Wimmer's et al - proper players to push for and even command a starting place in this amazing team!
Why not go for the talented Monaco players. Yes, pricey due to their success this season, but a really talented group and have done it at the highest level - not "potential", their ability is already there.
The past two seasons have been amazing, but Arsenal have had it like this for 20! Come on Levy, let's really show the intent and get this squad even better for when we move into our new home. Please!

Although I disagree that we will permanently be moving to 3 at the back, I agree with those type of signings

I think versatility is key, Analog.
Those types of signings would allow us to swalllow playing 4231 or 4141 for a sustained busy period, or easily switching between systems during a game.
We have a lot of players with more than one string to their bow, and it really works for us

We just need 3 signings or possibly 4 if Walker goes.
1) A forward/striker, preferably pacy or who can offer something else - Vardy, Antonio, Hernandez etc.
2) A CM. This will become more of a priority if Lamela leaves - Siggy, Barkley, Lanzini etc.
3) A CB who, if he can play as a full back, would be a bonus - Maguire, Gibson, Mawson, Keane etc.

I doubt we will sign many, I can see Sessegnon being signed and Walker-Peters being promoted.
Also one midfielder and a striker and that's about it really.
Don't think Poch will want to mess with the team too much and will just replace players not doing much.

Assuming Wimmer, Walker, Lamela, Sissoko leave and youngsters are sent out for some first team action
my shopping list would be:
1. Young LWB (Sessegnon)
2. First team quality RWB
3. First team quality RCB
4. First team quality CM/CAM
5. A Mane type player

And make sure to hold onto all other players. ideally walker and lamela will stay, then player 2 and to a lesser extent 4 above become irrelevant

A Mane type player will only decrease Son's game time. I think he's proven he should he playing a lot of minutes

that player suggestion was a bonus option. As a different option up front, more direct and tricky player with the attacking intelligence. People calling for a striker, i'd rather a player like this though. Kane as 1st choice all round package, Janssen great hold up and link up play, Son i guess can play here and hopefully continues to improve. Though we need some back up
