If Sanchez does go, if we replace him with Mahrez and a very good / top class striker I think that would be good business.

I think it would be good to add a powerhouse midfielder, I read somewhere Matuidi might be available, he's great.

Matuidi has always looked so awkward and unorthodox for me. I really don't rate him as a footballer.

He's a huge name for his position, which would excite a lot of fans. Personally I'd be disappointed to see us sign him.

How do you class Xhaka as a DM? He is anything but defensive. Watch his tracking and runs when the opposition gets the ball, he is more of a hindrance than help. The new formation was needed to bolster the defence to make up for his weakness and add an extra defensive player to make up for his lack of defending.

This all sounds a bit like last summer i.e when we signed a new CB (Mustafi) a new supposed DM (Xhaka) and new striker (Perez). Every bloody pre season we need a new fecking spine

I guess that's coz we are spineless?
