Quote from Pontus....
"The impression I have received from the new owners, and I've talked to the Director of Football and club director, and for me it feels like the stability is starting to come now," he told Fotboll Skanalen.
"The situation with Monk might look messy after changing manager again, but I don't see it that way. I think it will be neat and tidy now - a new and exciting project which will have sufficient investment.
"I have talked to Monk a little bit and heard his situation, and I have spoken to the owners and heard their version. It stays between us, but I hope Leeds can continue now. It [the club] has changed tremendously over the year that I've been there."
Pontus don't seem the type to shy away from saying what he feels, if things didn't look good to him, so him knowing both sides of the Monk story and still supporting the club seems to speak volumes.
The (professional?!) silence from the club we've had has left us all guessing and surmising. Personally, albeit crumbs, I'm not sure how anything other than positivity can be garnered from this particular snippet.
Some of you lot, of course, might think differently ! 😜
Comforting?

so looking forward to next season already.
the club just feels more on an even keel and we don't even have a manager yet.

I was thinking things were better when someone shut gob almighty up and left the un-sacked coaching staff to get on with a job that they are qualified to do!..
Funny thing is, as long as it doesn't get any worst we'll still be better off than this time last year!..
I think AR is right in sorting the backroom out and putting people in that should help him as well as the club, a club that works well from the Boardroom right down to the cleaning ladies can only be good long term!..
Long may it continue!.

It is quite ironic that we seem to have received better clarity from Pontus than from any other source.
On balance, he was rather diplomatic, don't you think?
Oh yes - Germany
But only so long as that is exactly what we get!

The club pays his wages.
