As much as I dislike him, not that I have ever met they guy he just comes across as a knobjockey, but I will have to admit even at 36 which isn't really that old, it would be a good signing IF he chooses Villa ahead of Bournemouth etc

He is the best defender this country has had in years and at 36 he will not play all the games.
But if he is looking to go into coaching then alongside this may be a result with his track record.
