Of all the ageing, "experienced" players we've been linked with, Terry is the only one I'd take. Think he'd have a massive influence on the defence. Sell Elphick and take Terry? No brainer.
Only problem is would he want to be playing week in and week out, which would then mean Baker being benched? We do need backup to Baker and Chester, but not sure I'd want that; Baker still makes the odd mistake, but on the whole does a good job.
What I don't want is Whelan. We have younger players such as Lyden and Toner providing backup for Jedinak, and I'd rather see them given their chances.
back 3?
Chester - Terry - Baker
would do a serious job for Villa.
"Not on my shift"
This has got to be pure rubbish
Best premier league defender by a country mile but not now let Bournemouth have him and Elphick back.
Some of the gossip Terry Whelan etc wow it can only get worse
Terry would be a massive influence, quite apart from his playing. He's dead keen on going into coaching; he could do it with us
Seems 'arry is after him. Why would he go to Blues? But then, why would anybody go to Blues?
Agree mcp but see my recent post
Another 'Arry brown envelope job. The only pity is that Gold and Sullivan and Peter Pannu aren't still at Birmingham what with Blues' dodgy hairdresser chairman doing time in chokey. And have they filed their 2011-12 accounts yet?
looks like this is happening £60k/week
Could be fan............
He is the best defender this country has had in years and at 36 he will not play all the games.
But if he is looking to go into coaching then alongside this may be a result with his track record.
Maybe his off limit shafting days are behind him? Gabby will be looking for tips

The only thing that doesn't hold water although all media sheeite is that blues apparently offered 100k a week.
Of course he's going to go to a bigger club for less money!...
Cant argue with the first part of your sentence KP
You can't take it out of context AG...now, as for a bung in a brown paper bag...
