Swansea want £7.5m for Bartley

Not worth 7.5m when he only has a year left on his contract.

I would pay up to 5m. For clubs such as ouraelves you pay 7m plus on watchwinners like a striker or attacker.

Thats not to dismiss the quality of Bartley or the importance of a defender.

Shame as we probably could have bought him for 500k to £1m last close season.

No way are Swansea getting that. He's barely kicked a ball for them in 4 years at the club and has a year left.

He's just had a great season with us but basically they're saying they don't think he's good enough for them or the Premier League and they were awful last season.

They will get around £3million in my opinion. Doubt it will be from us though.

i hope we've put in an offer for about half that. swansea are just just high balling right now but might start to get nervous if he's not in their plans and this drags on.

7.5 million is doable, or at least it should be

For me it would be 4 upfront plus 1 million after 50 games plus another after another 25 games or 2.5 million on promotion (whichever comes first)

IF radz is serious about promotion he must introduce some cash starting with acquiring Bartley it will send notice to all clubs and fans we mean business
