Agreed with some of the comments on Smalling, for me he is inconsistent, for a tall guy he gets beat in the too often, probably because he spends more time Pulling the opposing players shirt!

We got rid of Bastien and Morgan because Jose didn't rate them.

(listed purely alphabetically) with the addition of Matic (or similar) would be more than enough to see united deal with most midfield issues this season.

Bastian wasn't even given a chance and Morgan didn't really play well for us.

Matic is much poorer than both, it's why I'd hate for us to sign him. And no one has said what the current Matic can actually offer the team. People go on about maybes such as rediscovering his form or he just has to stick to being an anchor man but he's not been any use as one in the past two seasons.
