With the confirmation of Lacazette's signing our already large squad has further increased with 31 players in need of registration with a limit of 25 (plus U21s) allowed for the premier league, there are going to have to be a fair few departures, especially if we want to make further acquisitions. Here are some of the more likely candidates:
With Emiliano/Damien Martinez mooted as a capable number two No.1 next season, David Ospina, and (the previously thought to be Juventus-bound) Wojiech Szczesny could both be on their way to pastures new.
Mathieu Debuchy's unfortunate spell at Arsenal must surely be ending soon, and similarly Carl Jenkinson's time seems to have run out at the Emirates, however, cover for Hector Bellerin is still required. The arrival of Sead Kolasinac surely spells the end of Kieran Gibbs' Arsenal career since arriving from Wimbledon as a teenager.
In midfield the futures of former future England saviours Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are both in doubt.
Finally, up front this summer will surely see a permanent exit by Joel Campbell and Lacazette's arrival will probably see the exit of the unlucky Lucas Perez. The future of Alexis Sanchez remains in doubt, and Olivier Giroud may well head further afield to find a starting berth to maintain his place as France's first choice striker heading into a World Cup year.

Any chance Cazorla may be left out of the initial 25 man squad? Doesn't sound like he will be close to a return until at least December - may as well add him back in come January if hes on track.

If I had the final say I would, for varying reasons, get rid of;
Ospina,
Chesney,
jenks
Gibbs,
Debuchy,
Walcott
wilshere
Cazorla
Welbeck
Campbell
use the wage saving to keep Alexis/Ozil/Ox
use Perez more,
buy a GK
buy a winger
buy a CAM
have 4 or 5 youth players step into the 1st team squad
that list seems harsh but 8 of them never or rarely play for various reasons.
