Money in foota is abhorent, what chance to teams have competing for trophys with the wealthy clubs?
Paris St-Germain are set to hold talks with Barcelona over a £196m deal to sign Neymar, Barca's 25-year-old Brazil international forward.
Chelsea are holding out for £44m for Atletico Madrid target Diego Costa, 28, after agreeing a deal to sign his fellow striker Alvaro Morata, 24, from Real Madrid for £60m.
Liverpool are ready to bid £70m for RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita, having had a £66m offer rejected for the 22-year-old Guinea international.
How can all this be sustained, surely something has to give?
WTF is going on?

Pet peeve is throw ins when everyone puts their hand up trying to claim it for their team.
This too winds me up no end, what is it all about.
Tennis is a more respectful game.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think players are entitled to claim a throw, corner whatever (like appealing for an LBW in cricket) but any ongoing arguments shouldn't be tolerated.

Sky have just reshuffled their Channels and have a dedicated Premier league channel. I wish they would have a dedicated Championship Channel in the same way.

i thought i heard something about a championship channel. was i just dreaming.
i get on average 7 or 8 prem games each week combined on 2 networks, would trade them all for a championship channel.

Liverpool don't win titles anymore though. 77 million is poor for a trophy less return again. Leicester won the league recently and the likes of Bournemouth and Burley have held there own in the premier league.
Only concern I have, is that the mid table sides and below, still don't ever win the cups. The big clubs still dominate those.

Mike
Sky announce a rise in revenue so not sure where your getting that from.
Think we're saying a massive drive against illegal streaming and people are in for a shock.
I've just moved away from streaming back to sky for £20 a month for sports and movies
And the difference in quality is miles better and well worth it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The subs for sports are not as high as they were.
Streaming has too many rabbit holes for them to do anything about it.

Not sure if any1 mentioned but China have added a rule where teams have to pay the same value of any transfer in tax.
That would help bring down fees and help the treasury

Germany - Trevor Francis scored a winner in the European Cup Final and also said the early 1970s Leeds side was the best he ever played against so worth every penny in my opinion. Lukaku 60 - 70 million ??? - glory be!
