Thought we should have lost this in the first 20mins. Fulham were excellent. But we did well to hang on and got better as the game went on.. in the end, there was nothing in it between the two teams and that's a good sign surely. Happy with a point against a very good footballing team.
Also brave of TC to play alioski, pablo and saiz behind wood - they aren't the type to track back and that almost lost us the game first 20... can't see that happening again.
My Ratings
Flex - still dodgy and can't deal with crosses with confidence... made one excellent 1-1 save tho 7
Ayling - reliable as usual.... 7
Anita - was ripped to shreds first 20 minutes but gradually improved as game went on... 6
Shauny- looked nervous first 20 mins, bounced back well... 7
Jansson - did his job... 7
O'Kane.... sorry not a fan. One or 2 good passes but not sure what he brings to the table... 5
Philips - not impressed with first half. Had good moments in the game, but at times just goes missing and doesn't do basics right....6
Alioski... offered little.. one or two good tackles but didn't support the front lads today... 5
Pablo.. thought he got better as game went on and linked well with Saiz at times.. 7
Saiz.. 8, this guy will be the player for us this season. Great skill, attitude and effort levels. One to watch
Wood.. 5, thought his overall first touch at times was shocking.. but got into good positions at times, but when you do that you've got to take your 1-1 chances... he didn't... AGAIN!...
Overall, onwards and upwards...

To be fair to Wood, he did score. That was not offside if you watch the replay

Not fooker within 30 yard of him, most games

This is a new team, a team that 5 players from last season! The rest are new and acclimating in the process picking up 5 points from 9 with 2 of those games against 1 solid team and 1 top Chanp team.
Only Wolves look unstoppable right now but the rest are there for the taking. When this team clicks we shall tear this league a new one. It happened last year circa October so maybe given our start we are on track for s really good year.

Cardiff, Mike?
Wood getting off to a slow start. Same as last season?
Wiedweld did great coming out late with that slide tackle outside his area. Deserves a chance.
Phillips, I don't see why he gets selected, game after game.
O'Kane looked good to me, a much better player than last season.
Shaughnessy could be the find of the season!
Anita got torn to shreds for most of the first half.
Patience, give this side a chance to settle.
What was our record after 3 games last season?

Cardiff will falter but Wolves a serious squad.

Wolves have belief and have beaten 3 of the top sides already. Hope they get brought back down to earth. They're not moaning about players gelling nor are they playing 1 up top with 2 average centre mids

Phillips is a fascinating one. He gets picked by every manager but I don't get it. Has the odd good game but follows up with very average ones. I still think he is best going out on loan to see if he can add consistency.
The mf looks lightweight to me. I would rather see Anita in there who will add pace, cover ground and break things up well. I like him, seems calm and has good game management.
Alongside him, not sure. Maybe Vieira or Klitch.

Anita was run ragged at full back tonight. Not his best position and not a patch on Berardi. Might do well in midfield but as a full back...err....no.

Agree about the lack of pace in the team which is why I'm disappointed Sacko seems to have gone backwards, need another striker in before window shuts,

Agree Anita was given the run around in the first half last night, but then for long periods he was coming up against 2 - and the right back (Frederick I think?) was seriously quick.
That RB will give most LBs problems this season is my guess.
