Bolton v Derby/Judgement Day Thread

Today's matchthread a bit different as already have one but going to have an awful lot to talk about come monday. First things first we have a football match to talk about as Bolton now in 20th and apart from that first half v Leeds have done as well as possible so far at this level. The opponents today derby county in 15th represent a very tough challenge to overcome if Bolton are to get their first point(s) at the macron this season. Derby have just spent £5m plus on Tom Lawrence the sort of money we can only dream about. A mismatch for sure. Team news. Josh Vela, ameobi and wheater all still out injured. Phil Morris hopefully fit to start as certainly missed him against Leeds. Likely to be unchanged unless pp tinkers and brings Alf back for Armstrong or maybe Buckley for pratley and to a bit more attacking(pigs may fly). On Monday sports shield bwfc is likely to be wound up and who knows what the consequences of that will be. Least of which Bolton may be on minus points come Tuesday when Bolton play Sheffield Wednesday. I will let pasty go through the finer points of all this as my head hurts with it all Let's enjoy the match first though.

Been a bit busy today so not really kept up. All in the hands of lawyers, administrators and as clear as mud. No matter what happens Ken will do well out of all this. I still say we would have been better off going into administration rather than selling to these 2.

It looks as though Ken scuppered any possible deal with his demands totalling £10,500,000. If the claims are true. Another Eddie Davies?

In any event, matters are as clear as mud.

It's the way the Vultures circle around a possible corpse that is so disgusting.

All very clear SWIE

Dean we know was skint and found 50p to go in halves with Ken. Dean as big boss borrowed lots from BM secured against our bits like hotel land and ground to keep us going and pay some bills. Ken then took Dean by buying into his company gaining a majority holding of our club. Ken and Dean remain as skint as they were when they laid out 50p each.

Ken said the embargo would be sorted and a deal was all but done and dusted to resolve the BM and loan fiasco while saying promotion would allow him to bring in investment by various means.

Looks now like Ken could have shot himself and us in the foot BM still wants its money we still have an embargo no money and must now await the powers that be to decide our fate and if we should be sanctioned further and docked points all while Mr Hosking has control of Sportsshield shares and our assets he can sell whatever he wants to be able to give BM their money back.

The price anybody would likely pay for the club will have plummeted overnight its now not worth anywhere near what it was before yesterday morning.

All very clear until the next episode

It's a perfect script for an episode of Soap

Do we know exactly what portion of the ground etc is in hock to BM? I know Deano was desperate to get his hands on the club and he has been a very silly boy, but how silly?

In total its around the £7.5m against anything we own hotel land ground the whole lot but remember some of it has claims which come first so if the hotel were sold the creditors would be settled first see what's left if there is enough to settle all BM debt if not take something else and flog that as well. You'd imagine the shares being sold first to pay off so much first but you never know and remainder left owing comes from somewhere.
It's open to accusations of wrong doing as the prize money came in and was spent during the court delay which of course now as a result of the liquidation has somewhat devalued the shares so if Chairman Ken buys the shares it could be said he deliberately delayed court result to use the prize money first and lower the price the shares would have got by forcing the liquidation by refusing any approaches its all rather smelling of a rat and shifty dealings going on.

Somewhere I said Ken could have shot himself and us in the foot what happens if he doesn't get his 100% ownership on the cheap and we get points knocked off or all this frightened off somebody he had lined up. The soap continues
