Much as I love the glory game

That was a situation crying out for a foot on the ball and play out the draw. Getting the goal back had been incredibly hard fought, we didn't need to be so gung ho. Now we'll just hear more dross about how we can't win at Wembley

Simple one-touch pass required by Wanyama.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

Which he struggles with as always.

Lloris should have know better, had he have thrown it to the likes of Dembele then fair enough but he must know Wanyama is likely to give it away so Imo that makes Lloris as much to blame as Wanyama.

I would also blame Poch a bit because Wanyama was having a mare so why he did not leave Dier out there and take Wanyama off god only knows.

Yes Dier was on a yellow but thats not the point in my books Dier should be a good enough pro to allow for the fact that he was on a yellow.

Both errors were those I wouldn't expect from pro footballers. The throw wasn't at an awkward height or pace so Wanyama could have just cushioned it with the instep to Sissoko. Lloris just needed to use his legs to make the save, at worst it could have gone through his legs, can't be diving over the ball

Its well known that you are at your most vulnerable just after you score, thats a fact. Look at the way goals are scored in games and the amount of times the goals are 2 or 3 minutes apart is bizarre.

Lloris should never have made that throw even tho a better footballer than Wanyama would not have given it away.

Lloris as captain should know better as for his "efforts" to stop the shot well............................enough said

A lot to ponder here.
First, I think Pochettino has to take some blame.
Settling for a draw might have been a good strategy.
I suppose Lloris was simply following Pochettino's thinking - both backs gone off, attack. So throw to Wanyama, well sometimes wot happened happens. But then he's totally exposed and has to cover both the shot (less likely) and the center to whoever it was. Well he got caught. Yes, he could have done better, but he's not entirely to blame. Frankly, I blame Pochettino.

Poch cannot be blamed for players decisions on the pitch if you watched it he was as angry as we were

The initial mistake was the lack of awareness from Wanyama, Lloris compounded it with the poor attempt at making the save

Of course Pochettino was angry. He didn't plan for wot happened. But my point is that his over time strategy of substitutions to go for a win left the GK exposed. And then wot happened is likely to happen.
A draw would have been good thinking when we got the own goal.

He went for a win by bringing Sissoko on?????

Thats the weirdest tactical move I have ever heard of

He subbed Trippier, he subbed Davies.
Wot else do you think he was intending, other than going all out for a goal and a second one?
I can't speak to your opinion of Sissoko, except to say that it certainly differs from Pochettino's opinion!
