And Zappa among most overpriced transfers too, according to a study.

How on earth did they value Salah at 70m?

Except the producers of the report / study are not Scousers.
You seem a tad buthurt that a 'Chelsea reject' is performing quite well for a rival.

Salah?

The problem with studies like this is market value and a player's value to each respective club are two different things. Matic is a perfect example :
To us, his value was considerably lower than 40mil. His age, performance levels and length of contract all contribute to that.
To United, his value is slightly higher due to their manager's tactics combined with a need to allow a 90mil pound investment more freedom to influence games (i.e. help pay back that investment).
To Mourinho, 40mil is very close to his value. Being a short termist manager pushes his age out of the argument + he knows the player and how to utilize him. If he plays a pivotal role in United winning the title this season he's the biggest winner.

Agree. He already spent £90m on Pogba, £40m more to get him started!

Cech is Arsenals best keeper in over a decade, we sold him to them as we appreciate what our players do for us and dont just discard them, same with Matic. Cech has not transformed Arsenal into a title winning side.
By the same reasoning if Arsenal win the league this year it must have been Chamberlain holding them back not Wenger

Who comes up with this Sheite
We did overpay for Matic but for 5m less we could have got Danny Drinkwater
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes. you overpaid. But if he keeps his form, he could be key in your title challenge.
Problem with Nemanja is, when his head goes down that is it.
He was brilliant for us until he got sent off v Burnley in early 2015 but just couldn't reach that level again
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think nearly breaking his leg had something to do with it, cause he badly faded away with mediocre perfomances

The simple answer is that players are worth what a club is willing to pay. Neymar doesn't appear on that list, which means he's worth close to (maybe even a little more than) the 200m PSG paid for him. Is he really worth that? Is any player worth that?
As for Matic, 40m is the minimum Chelsea needed to get because he was sold to a direct rival and the club knew how much they'd have to pay for Drinkwater, who I don't think is as bad a signing as is being made out either. Matic is a good player at what he does. He did suffer a dip in form and was nowhere near as effective as either Kante or Fabregas for Chelsea last year. In fact, I'd say the decision to play Matic over Fabregas cost Chelsea the FA cup last season.
