How to spot a racist...

"I'm not a racist, but..."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I am not a racist, but I know some black people are👍

And some Asian people, Chinese people, Buddhist people, Japanese people etc etc.

It does seem that racism is safe to talk about for everyone but White British people

----------------------------------------------------------------------
As a black person. I get your point and I've seen that... on the flipside.. often when black people talk about race, they are often seen as over-sensitive troublemakers who like to play the victim. We have more in common than you think. I think both sides just need to take the ego out of the argument and look for how we can be more empathetic to each other.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree completely bud.

If we have respect and empathy for one another, we can debate without hate.

I find leftist white student types are the ones seeking to label things racist, or facist, sighting cultural appropriation as made up offence seeking.

In the campus scene in America and to a lesser extent here, every Interaction and even eye contact between black and white students is scrutinized by leftist thought police.

When I posted about black guys targeting whites for murder, and openly stating they wanted to kill whites, I was labelled racist, ffs yet at university, some weirdo white PC clown tries to find white racism in eye contact😟

That said, it goes without saying white natzi types are openly racist, like their black power racist mirror image.

It is sad I have to even say that, as the debate invariably shifts to me being a white supremacist for even mentioning any form of non white racism😢
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Cultural appropriation has been going on for centuries. Often people who get upset about that sort of stuff are disappointed with their own lack of ownership and achievement. On the flipside, I can obviously see that there are levels to everything and sometimes you can use cultural appropriation to exploit people, but this is something that happens when the people allow themselves to be exploited and it's rarely done by the average person on the street.

I would be very careful to call anything or anyone racist. People are the way they are because of the journey they've had - we are all shaped by our environment and I feel that when we accept that, we challenge ourselves to learn something new and accept people for who they are.

On the flipside, there is such a thing as institutional racism but that's something different to what I feel we're talking about today.

When you say that black people have targeted whites for murder, I haven't seen that but just because I haven't seen it, I'm not going to call you racist. The same way, I would know things about the opposite side of that, that you might be shocked to learn. If you say it's true, I'm sure you've seen something that I haven't and there has to be some element of respect there for us to have a conversation.

What we must be wary of is that with every societal group comes the extremists of those groups and it's sadly those people that most often dictate how the rest of us perceive each other, talk with each other and behave around each other.

I say we leave the extremists to it because the people in the middle have more in common than what they have with the people on the extreme ends of their designated groups.

On the article itself, it didn't specify what the player did in order for the ref to send him off. Was it a middle finger or some other offensive gesture?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Short of smashing the racists prats in their faces I'd like to think anything else he may have done on the pitch being in the realms of acceptable.

Apparently a Liverpool youth player was racially abused in Russia.

I hope the Liverpool fans will treat him with the same scepticism they did evra when he made his claim.

I find it easier to avoid racism by simply hating everyone.
