Racism is awful.

So few white British and Irish players in the top flight of football now, and whites in athletics, boxing, basketball and the NFL.

League of whitey sportspeople required, methinks.

How many white Europeans playing sport in China, India, Africa and the middle east.

If we need more people of co!our in sport, the workplace, arts etc, remember white pink is a colour tooπŸ˜πŸ‘

Some African teams have no white players at all.

How can this be in 2017?

This is worse that the Oscars and Brit awards, IMO😟

I'm expecting a statement from the society of pink lawyers any minute now.

While you may think you are hilarious, bluebells, the comments that you've made on various threads regarding race are showing you to be a pretty damn ignorant individual. Incidents like this are just not funny at all.

Bit off topic but if I (or anyone) were to move to a different area of the country and part of the decision on where to relocate was on how high a percentage of people were classed as white does that count as racism? Not the number one factor but like I said taken into consideration.

I picked my kids up from an after school club before and honestly it was like walking into the United Nations.

East of England is full of eastern Europeans, so the factories here are predominantly full of mostly foreign workers, it's not racist or unfair to be not happy with the state of affairs. Some English have left/changed shifts due to lack of English. We have more Irma's here than English girls altogether. So to the above post, no, relocating isn't racist whatsoever

I wouldn't move to an area of England that is more white. Mixed, maybe. But that's due to simply what happened to my dad and my experience growing up. Saying that, I wouldn't want to be in an area just of my own race or cultural background. I've seen what happens then to.

And being out here, I know the feeling of wanting to be with people more like yourself. That in itself isn't racism. We're naturally inclined to try to want to be with people more like us.

On the article itself, it didn't specify what the player did in order for the ref to send him off. Was it a middle finger or some other offensive gesture?

Is that right, aye.

Seventy per cent of the NFL is black in America, where 13 per cent of the population in black....is that funny, or an issue, I do not know.

Where are the Asian and Muslim footballers in the UK?

Where are the black or Asian swimmers or cyclists in the UK?

Why so few white athletes and boxers now competing and winning in sprints,,long distance, heavyweight boxing.

Should white or hispanic folk just give up on 100 metres training?

I detest racism just as much as I detest those who only see one kind of racism!

If debates on racism and race are not honest and open, then the problem and issue is not being addressed.

I go leftfield on purpose, and see no people of colour in the massive building and construction industry, or in agriculture......just as I see very few Asian or Muslim footballers in the UK where we ave three million Muslim people at least...why is that?

We always hear that films are too white, for example, as we watch eight black guys running the one hundred metres, and no white runner about....is that not weird?

Do black people not cycle or swim on another topic?

Do Hispanic and Asian guys not like some sports in America?

In London schools we often see no or few non people of colour, and London has the population of Oz, so this is becoming an issue, with white flight, as in New York or Chicago.

In south Africa, black workers attack other black African workers for moving to their land, so it is not a white thing only.

Racism and race issues are being dominated by a certain narrative, and I give another.

This does not mean I give a toss about skin pigmentation or identity politics.

The views on eastern European immigration in above posts are called racist, even though most migrants are white from there.....and Poland has a nationalist govt, so they are not immune to such human instincts.
