He made a point of wanting to separate the man from the manager like he was privy to some details of the mans private life. Apart from a hmmm all he's given us is the usual bitter Liverpool view that Fergus was a surfer which is a continued source of amusement to all utd fans.

He’s a big character that did everything in his power to get United an advantage. United fans love him for it.

It’d be like me saying Shankly was a because he did the same for Liverpool. He wasn’t, and he remains one of my football heroes regardless of who he managed

Football’s too tribal

Plus he had bourbon appeal.

Great manager although he did have some flaws like throwing some games and not playing his strongest team to teach some players a lesson. SAF even said that we lost some titles due to him wanting to teach a few players a lesson not to cross him.

We need to get revenge on Man City for those 2 goal difference seasons we missed out on 4th and 1st and get our own back in the CL. I just hope this ain't an 11/12 season all over again in the league. In the CL we look good.
